Full Job Description
We’re seeking an experienced and motivated Automotive Desk / Sales Manager to join our team in Gilmer, Texas. This role is ideal for a professional who thrives in a fast-paced dealership environment and enjoys leading a sales team to success. You’ll be responsible for desking deals, coaching salespeople, and ensuring profitable, customer-focused transactions in both new and pre-owned departments.
Responsibilities
- • Desk and structure deals to maximize front-end and back-end gross profit.
- Submit deals to lenders and ensure accurate, timely funding.
- • Take TOs (turnovers) promptly to assist the sales team in closing deals.
- • Negotiate sales terms while maintaining strong customer satisfaction.
- • Help manage and price inventory with store leadership.
- • Train, motivate, and support the sales team for consistent performance.
- • Maintain a professional image and strong follow-up discipline.
- • Contribute new ideas and proven processes to drive dealership growth.
Qualifications
- • Minimum 3 years of automotive sales or management experience.
- • Proven ability to lead, motivate, and develop a sales team.
- • Strong knowledge of deal structure, desking, and lender guidelines.
- • Excellent communication, negotiation, and closing skills.
- • Ability to take quality TOs and support salespeople effectively.
- • Professional appearance and positive, team-oriented attitude.
- • Solid understanding of dealership operations and sales principles.
Compensation & Benefits
- • Competitive base salary plus performance-based bonuses.
- • Annual earning potential between $80,000 and $130,000+.
