UNCO | Culpepper Cattle Co | Bartender
As a bartender, you’ll be the face of the bar, engaging our guests and providing exceptional hospitality. Through conversation, active listening, and attentive service, you’ll ensure that every guest feels welcome, valued, and well looked after.
Responsibilities:
- Greet every guest warmly, as if they were a cherished friend.
- Engage in friendly conversations to understand their reasons for visiting and any special needs they may have, such as dietary restrictions or allergies.
- Pay close attention to body language and nonverbal cues to anticipate their needs and provide personalized service.
- Use the information gathered from conversations to create memorable experiences for our guests, thinking creatively and outside the box.
- Guide guests through our food and beverage menus, answering any questions they may have.
- Accurately and efficiently take and place orders from bar guests, utilizing your knowledge of our menu and the guest’s preferences to recommend the perfect options.
- Produce the necessary beverages quickly and with attention to detail, treating each guest as if they were your own.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and visually appealing bar area throughout your shift.
- Keep an accurate record of waste and other relevant information.
- Complete any assigned side duties before leaving work.
Qualifications:
- Must be at least 21 years old.
- Demonstrate efficient multitasking skills.
- Have 2 years of bartending experience.
- Hold a Food Handler’s Cert and TABC Cert.
- Earn an hourly wage ranging from $16.00 to $38.00, plus tips.
