Responsibilities:
Perform routine tasks as assigned by the Charge Nurse and provide assistance to professional nursing staff
Maintain established standards of practice set forth by the facility's administration and Nursing policies and procedures
Follow all health, sanitary, and infection control policies
Assist with activities of daily living, including grooming and hygiene, transferring, ambulation, and proper body alignment
Participate in informal/formal resident care meetings as requested by the Charge Nurse and/or Supervisor
Perform other related duties as deemed necessary by the Supervisor/Administrator and/or Director
Requirements:
C.N.A. certification
Previous CNA experience desirable, but not essential
Ability to read, write, and comprehend English; ability to follow oral and written instructions
Ability to work hours as scheduled based on the requirements of the position assignment
Must be able to cope with the mental, emotional, and physical stress of the position
