Position Summary:
We have a great opportunity for a reliable, adaptable, honest, hardworking individual to join our team. This position is onsite and requires the ability to drive to locations in Santa Barbara and Santa Ynez Valley, as well as ability to fly in small aircraft to travel to other locations as needed. Duties encompass a variety of Information Technology, Audio-Video and Home Integration implementation, support and administrative tasks, including but not limited to:
Key Duties
- Level 2+ Help Desk & creative problem solving on a wide variety of IT, multimedia and AV challenges.
- Level 1-2+ Lutron lighting system and home integration back-end programming
- Level 2+ support of networks and cloud computing environments. Configuration, optimization, maintenance, and troubleshooting of IT network infrastructure including Firewalls, Switches and Wi-Fi.
- Working with the Director of Technology and contracted Level 4 support to isolate issues requiring specialized attention and create/deploy solutions.
- Level 2+ support of cybersecurity, including development, reinforcement, and support of Information Security and Data Management policies and procedures.
- Co-administration of Microsoft 365/Azure AD/Intune consisting of deployment, account management, user support, and troubleshooting.
- Level 2 support of residential property technology systems and applications. Handling of break/fix, configuration issues, software installations, and basic hardware repair.
- Ability/willingness to learn and subsequently perform Level 1-2 programming of Lutron lighting systems, and reliably oversee Level 2+ programming by vendors.
- Research, analysis, proposition, acquisition, maintenance, and inventory of technology equipment at all locations. Creating and updating assorted documentation relating to the technology department.
- IP surveillance and telephony administration for office and residential systems, including maintenance, troubleshooting, investigation, and basic repair.
- POS system administration, including installation, technical support, and troubleshooting.
- Integrated Smart Home support of Crestron, Alexa, and related Audio-Video services and devices.
- Represents the organization with the highest level of professionalism and confidentiality
- Perform duties discreetly, allowing for privacy when family members are present
- Remains watchful; calls out any potential issues and actions needed in assigned areas
- Notifies management immediately of any safety-related issues
- Calls out any current processes or procedures that can be improved
Routine Administrative Duties
- Provides daily updates regarding all work and status of ongoing projects
- Suggest action plans to accomplish goals
- Promptly responds to emails, phone calls and text messages
- Answers phones and gate lines
- Conducts internet research
- Tracks and reconciles all work-related expenses
- Create files and organizational systems for projects in assigned areas
- Assists team members in other departments as needed
Special Projects
- Special Projects as assigned/requested by supervisors. These may be short or long-term assignments
Qualification
- Confidence working with/supporting a wide variety of cloud and desktop software platforms, ranging from Productivity (Microsoft/Google) to Creativity (Adobe).
- Experience programming Lutron lighting systems, or similar home integration back-end programming.
- High level of aptitude with Windows, Microsoft 365, iOS. iPadOS
- High level of aptitude in network technologies (WWAN/WAN/LAN/WLAN).
- Aptitude with basic AV configuration/troubleshooting.
- Willingness to support a very broad range of software and devices
- Passion for learning on the fly as needed to support unfamiliar platforms/equipment
- Highest level of confidentiality.
- Professionalism in appearance and demeanor.
- Excellent interpersonal communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Ability to prioritize, multi-task, and work under pressure on multiple projects concurrently while meeting deadlines.
- Ability & willingness to learn new skills, both through structured training and on-the-fly.
- Ability to remain patient and flexible in a rapidly changing, fast-paced environment.
- Highly developed follow-up skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work with minimal supervision

- A valid California Driver’s License and clean driving record, per DMV Report
- The ability to fly comfortably in small aircraft when requested

Pay: $42.00 - $47.00 per hour
