Responsibilities
- Accurately pick and pack customer orders using RF scanners and order picker equipment to ensure correct items are shipped.
- Operate warehouse equipment such as pallet jacks, reach trucks, and forklifts to load, unload, and transport inventory safely.
- Utilize warehouse management systems (WMS) and AS400 to track inventory levels, update order statuses, and manage stock movements efficiently.
- Prepare shipments by packaging products securely, labeling packages correctly, and coordinating with shipping carriers for timely dispatch.
- Conduct stock stocking activities and perform regular inventory counts to maintain accurate stock levels within the warehouse.
- Assist with shipping & receiving tasks by verifying inbound/outbound shipments against purchase orders and delivery documents.
- Support warehouse distribution efforts by organizing storage areas, managing order picking & packing workflows, and ensuring a smooth flow of goods.
Skills
- Proven experience in warehouse operations, including order fulfillment, stocking, and shipping & receiving.
- Ability to operate warehouse equipment such as forklifts (certification preferred), reach trucks, pallet jacks, and RF scanners safely.
- Familiarity with warehouse management systems (WMS), AS400 or similar platforms for inventory control.
- Strong basic math skills for counting, measuring, and verifying quantities accurately.
- Knowledge of e-commerce fulfillment processes and packaging standards to ensure customer satisfaction.
- Experience with order picker machines and load & unload procedures to optimize productivity.
