Overview
We are seeking a dynamic and highly skilled Advanced Math Teacher to inspire and challenge students in their mathematical journey. Duties
- Design and implement comprehensive lesson plans that cover advanced topics such Algebra tailored to high school and middle school levels.
- Develop and refine curriculum materials aligned with educational standards and incorporate cutting-edge learning technology to enhance student engagement.
- Deliver interactive classroom instruction that adapts to various learning styles and cultural backgrounds, ensuring all students grasp complex mathematical concepts.
- Assess student progress through quizzes, standardized tests, projects, and classroom participation; provide constructive feedback to support continuous improvement.
- Collaborate with colleagues on curriculum development, instructional strategies, and integration of educational technology to promote best practices in math education.
- Manage classroom behavior effectively while fostering a positive learning environment conducive to inquiry and exploration.
Skills
- Knowledge of advanced mathematics including Algebra
- Skilled in curriculum development and implementation with the ability to adapt lessons for diverse learning styles and special education needs.
- Proficient in integrating educational technology tools such as digital labs, learning management systems (LMS), interactive whiteboards, and other IT-enabled resources into lessons.
- Excellent communication skills for effective classroom management, teacher collaboration, parent engagement, and mentoring students from diverse cultural backgrounds.
- Strong organizational abilities demonstrated through lesson planning, instructional design, proofreading educational materials, and maintaining accurate records of student progress.
