Job Summary:
We are seeking a dedicated Sorter to join our team. The Sorter will be responsible for organizing and categorizing items in a warehouse or distribution center setting.
8am-4pm
Duties:
- Utilize warehouse management systems to accurately sort and categorize items
- Handle heavy lifting and loading/unloading of items
- Utilize equipment such as pallet jacks and forklift for material movement
Experience:
- Prior experience in a warehouse or distribution center environment preferred
- Familiarity with OSHA guidelines for safe handling of materials
- Ability to build and stack pallets efficiently
- Experience with operating equipment such as pallet jacks and forklift
Requirements:
- Ability to lift heavy objects and perform physical tasks throughout the shift
- Proficiency in using warehouse management systems for sorting task
- Knowledge of safety protocols for working in a warehouse environment
