Responsibilities
- Greet guests warmly, present menus confidently, and provide expert recommendations to enhance their dining experience
- Take accurate food and beverage orders using POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS, ensuring timely delivery
- Upsell menu items and specials to maximize sales opportunities while maintaining genuine guest engagement
- Serve food and drinks efficiently, ensuring proper presentation and adherence to food safety standards
- Manage cash handling, cashiering duties, and openTable reservations with precision and accountability
- Assist with food preparation, bussing tables, and maintaining sanitation standards to support kitchen operations
- Address guest inquiries promptly, resolve issues professionally, and foster positive guest relations at all times
Qualifications
- Prior experience in food service or restaurant environments, especially in fine dining or nightlife settings
- Proficiency with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS; experience with OpenTable is a plus
- Strong knowledge of food handling, sanitation, and safety protocols within the food industry
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to engage guests warmly and professionally
- Effective time management skills to handle multiple tables efficiently during busy shifts
- Basic math skills for cash handling, billing accuracy, and transaction processing
- Culinary or kitchen experience is advantageous but not required; a passion for hospitality is essential
