Position Details
Location: Denver Health – Main Campus (Pavilion C), Denver, CO
Contract Length: 13 Weeks
Schedule: Extended hours with occasional Saturdays as needed
Pay Rate: $70/hour
Responsibilities
- Perform dental hygiene assessments, diagnosis, and treatment planning.
- Provide preventive dental care and patient education.
- Complete non-surgical periodontal therapy (NSPT).
- Take digital radiographs, intraoral images, and perform oral cancer screenings.
- Conduct Caries Risk Assessments for all patients.
- Maintain accurate patient documentation and complete care notes within required timeframes.
- Assist with instrument sterilization and sterile processing.
- Float to other community dental clinics, medical-dental integration programs, or school-based clinics as needed.
- Deliver exceptional patient care while following infection control, sterilization, and safety protocols.
Requirements
- Associate's Degree in Dental Hygiene
- Active Colorado Registered Dental Hygienist (RDH) License
- Local Anesthesia Certification (Colorado State Board of Dentistry)
- Current BLS (Basic Life Support) Certification – American Heart Association
- 1–3 years of direct clinical Dental Hygienist experience
