ResponsibilitiesHuman Resources
- Assist with recruitment, interviewing, hiring, and onboarding
- Process new hire paperwork and maintain employee personnel files
- Coordinate background checks, physicals, TB testing, and other pre-employment requirements
- Maintain employee records with accuracy and confidentiality
- Assist employees with HR-related questions and benefits information
- Support employee engagement and retention initiatives
Staff Scheduling
- Create and maintain nursing department schedules
- Fill open shifts and coordinate staffing coverage
- Communicate with employees regarding schedule changes and shift availability
- Monitor staffing levels to ensure compliance with facility requirements
- Work closely with department managers to meet staffing needs
- Maintain scheduling records and reports
Qualifications
- Previous Human Resources, staffing, or scheduling experience preferred
- Healthcare or long-term care experience is a plus
- Experience with scheduling software is preferred
- Strong organizational, multitasking, and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Ability to maintain confidentiality
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office and computer systems
