BOM Master Data Specialist / SAP Scheduler
The BOM Master Data Specialist is responsible for creating, maintaining, and governing Bill of Materials data in SAP to ensure accuracy, compliance, and operational efficiency in manufacturing and planning processes. The SAP Scheduler is responsible for production planning and scheduling activities within SAP, ensuring optimal resource utilization, timely order execution, and alignment with supply chain and production goals.

BOM (Bill of Materials) Master Data Specialist
Key Responsibilities:
- Create and maintain Bills of Materials (BOMs) in SAP
- Ensure accuracy of:
- Component materials
- Quantities and units of measure
- Validity dates and version control
- Collaborate with:
- Engineering
- Production
- Procurement
- Quality teams
- Ensure BOMs align with:
- Routing
- Work centers
- Production versions
- Maintain data integrity and governance standards.
- Perform audits and resolve discrepancies across systems.
- Support MRP and production execution accuracy by maintaining clean data
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- Experience with SAP MM/PP master data, especially BOM management.
- Strong attention to detail and data accuracy.
- Knowledge of:
- Material master data
- Production processes
- Ability to manage multiple changes and priorities.
- Analytical mindset with problem-solving capability.
Preferred:
- Experience with PLM systems (e.g., Teamcenter, Windchill)
- Understanding of manufacturing processes and product structures
- Familiarity with change management workflows
SAP Scheduler / Master data:
Key Responsibilities:
- Create and maintain production schedules in SAP.
- Convert planned orders into production/process orders.
- Monitor and adjust schedules based on:
- Material availability
- Capacity constraints
- Equipment downtime
- Coordinate with:
- Supply Chain / Demand Planning
- Procurement
- Manufacturing / Operations
- Ensure on-time order release and execution.
- Perform capacity planning and leveling.
- Track and report production KPIs (OTIF, schedule adherence, utilization).
- Manage exceptions such as:
- Shortages
- Delays
- Expedite requests
- Maintain accurate lead times and production parameters in SAP.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- Experience with SAP PP (Production Planning)
- Strong understanding of:
- MRP (Material Requirements Planning)
- Routing and work centers
- Analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work cross-functionally in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficiency in Excel and reporting tools.
Preferred:
- Experience in manufacturing (CPG, pharma, automotive, etc.)
- Knowledge of capacity planning and constraint-based scheduling
- Team player with professional attitude
