What We're Looking For
The ideal candidate is an experienced wood framer with strong leadership and communication skills.
- Experience: Proven experience as a wood framer in the construction industry.
- Knowledge: In-depth understanding and applied knowledge of wood frame construction practices and standards.
- Leadership: Strong leadership skills with the ability to successfully manage and motivate teams of 1-2 other carpenters.
- Communication: Strong verbal and written communication skills to effectively communicate with superintendents and teammates.
- Work Ethic: The ability to show up to work consistently and on time.
- Tools: Must own basic framing tools (saw, gun, hose, tool belt).
- Transportation: Must have a reliable vehicle and insurance.
Key Responsibilities
As a key member of our team, you will play a vital role in the construction of custom framing projects. Your duties will include:
- Installing rough framing lumber, sheet goods, timber, framing hardware, and EWP packages.
- Working as a team with other carpenters throughout the construction process.
- Providing mentorship and instruction to junior framers.
