This is a salaried/Exempt, commissioned based position
Work schedule: Monday - Friday, 40 hours/week
Location: Hybrid / CT Region
SUMMARY: The Agency Advisor provides service to designated high potential/high producing agents, while focusing on increasing their policy submission to the company. The Advisor identifies, closes and implements growth opportunities within an assigned geography.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following:
- Provide a high level of service and training to identified agents to increase their policy submission to the company.
- Determine appropriate sales/service plans for each identified agent and execute on the same.
- Monitor and assess business levels of assigned accounts to ensure revenue growth.
- Evaluate agent needs.
- Lead all aspects of sales process, while calling upon other company resources to assist in execution of sales/service plan.
- Work with and maintain an open dialog with Compliance Representatives and in- house Agency Advisors who are involved with identified accounts.
- Meet established sales and revenue goals.
- Maintain up-to-date understanding of industry trends and technical developments that effect target markets.
- Establish and maintain industry contacts that lead to sales.
- Identify and gather information with regard to high quality, high potential conveyancing prospects and work with manager to convert these potential new accounts into policy producing agents.
- Develop and deliver sales/service training presentations.
- Work with Compliance Consultants to facilitate the Agent Audit process.
- Participate in sales forecasting and planning.
- Develop and maintain communications in a cooperative and professional manner with all levels of staff and customers.
- Compliance and adherence at all times with the organization’s Code of Ethics and Conduct as well as all of our company policies.
- Perform other duties as assigned.

- Must have valid driver's license and be willing to be "on the road" 80% of time.
- Must have strong interpersonal skills, maturity and good judgment and be capable of communicating with a diverse range of individuals.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills including formal presentation skills before both small and large groups.
- Demonstrated ability in problem solving and negotiation with special emphasis on closing the sale.
- Ability to work as part of a team.
EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE:
- Bachelor degree in business, marketing or a related discipline, or equivalent work experience.
- Experience working with real estate attorneys and paralegals.
