Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate LCAS, LCAS-A, LCMHC, LCMHC-A to join our team. Duties
- Conduct assessments to determine clients' needs and develop personalized treatment plans.
- Provide individual and group therapy sessions focusing on mental health issues, addiction counseling, and crisis intervention.
- Utilize motivational interviewing techniques to encourage client engagement and progress.
- Mentor clients in developing coping strategies and life skills necessary for recovery and personal growth.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive care and support for clients.
- Maintain accurate documentation of client progress, treatment plans, and any changes in behavior or condition.
- Stay informed about current trends in behavioral health systems and best practices in therapy.
Experience
- If Counseling; A degree in social work, psychology, or a related field is required; licensure may be necessary depending on the specific role.
- Experience in mental health counseling, addiction counseling, or crisis management is preferred.
- Familiarity with crisis intervention strategies and behavioral health systems is advantageous.
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build rapport with clients from diverse backgrounds.
