Position Overview:
As a Certified Electrician at Aztecs Telecom, you will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing electrical systems in commercial and industrial settings. This position requires extensive knowledge of electrical wiring and systems, the ability to interpret blueprints, and the capability to install and troubleshoot electrical systems from 120V to 480V. You'll be expected to work on a variety of projects, lead crews, and ensure the successful completion of electrical installations. The ideal candidate should thrive in a fast-paced environment, possess strong communication skills, and have the ability to collaborate effectively with other team members.
Responsibilities:
- Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems in commercial and industrial environments.
- Run EMT/IMC conduit and work with electrical systems from 120V to 480V.
- Interpret and implement electrical drawings and blueprints to ensure accurate project execution.
- Lead and manage crews on job sites, ensuring timely project completion while adhering to safety standards.
- Coordinate with team members, supervisors, and clients to ensure smooth workflow and effective communication.
- Travel to various job sites with paid travel time as required to perform electrical installations and repairs.

Required Skills and Qualifications:
- 5-10 years of experience in the commercial/industrial electrical field.
- Proficiency in running EMT/IMC conduit and working with electrical systems up to 480V.
- Strong ability to read and interpret electrical blueprints and drawings.
- Effective leadership skills, with experience managing crews on job sites.
- Strong communication skills, able to collaborate effectively in a team environment.
- Ability to handle a fast-paced work environment while maintaining high standards of safety and accuracy.
- Valid certification or licensure as a Journeyman Electrician.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $40.00 - $55.00 per hour
