CG&S Design-Build is hiring an experienced Residential Construction Superintendent to support and lead high-end remodeling, additions, and custom residential projects throughout the Austin area.
This role is ideal for someone who thrives in the field, takes pride in craftsmanship and organization, communicates well with both clients and trades, and enjoys helping projects run smoothly from start to finish.
Our projects are detailed, fast-moving, and client-focused. We’re looking for a Superintendent who can maintain momentum, solve problems proactively, hold trades accountable, and help deliver an exceptional construction experience.

What You’ll Do
- Lead day-to-day field operations for residential construction projects from startup through completion
- Coordinate subcontractors, deliveries, inspections, and daily construction site activities
- Work closely with Project Managers, clients, architects, designers, and field teams
- Help maintain project schedules and proactively identify delays or conflicts
- Ensure projects maintain high standards for quality control, workmanship, cleanliness, safety, and professionalism
- Conduct site walks, field coordination meetings, and quality control inspections
- Maintain daily logs, site photos, and project updates through Buildertrend
- Hold subcontractors accountable to schedule, workmanship, and jobsite expectations
- Help drive projects to completion while minimizing punch-list delays and unresolved items
- Assist in solving field issues quickly and professionally while maintaining project momentum

Qualifications
- 5+ years of residential construction field leadership experience
- Experience managing residential remodeling, renovation, or custom home projects
- Strong understanding of residential construction sequencing, subcontractor coordination, and field operations
- Ability to coordinate multiple trades and maintain schedule accountability
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- Comfortable using technology in the field including Buildertrend, Microsoft office suite, MS Teams and mobile apps
- Understanding of OSHA safety practices and jobsite safety standards
- Ability to read plans and coordinate details effectively
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation

- Full-time
