Early Childhood Special Education Teacher
About the Role
We are seeking a passionate and skilled Early Childhood Special Education Teacher to join our multidisciplinary clinical team. This role focuses on working with children ages 2–6 in a special needs classroom setting, emphasizing skills acquisition, developmental progress, and school readiness.
Our program integrates educational and therapeutic approaches to support children with developmental delays, autism, and related needs in building communication, social, adaptive, and early academic skills.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement individualized and small-group lesson plans tailored to each child’s developmental level and goals
- Deliver instruction in functional communication, social skills, adaptive behavior, and early academics (pre-reading, writing, and math)
- Utilize evidence-based strategies (e.g., structured teaching, visual supports, ABA-informed practices) to drive measurable progress
- Support social-emotional development and behavior regulation using positive reinforcement and structured routines
- Collect and maintain data on student progress to inform instruction and track outcomes
- Create a safe, structured, and engaging classroom environment that promotes independence and participation
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team including therapists and clinical staff
- Maintain open communication with parents/caregivers regarding progress and strategies
- Ensure compliance with clinic policies, and infection control protocols
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree in Early Childhood Education, Special Education, or related field (required)
- Experience working with young children with special needs (ages 2–6) preferred
- Knowledge of early childhood development and individualized instruction strategies
- Familiarity with behavioral or therapeutic approaches (ABA, developmental models, etc.) is highly preferred

Pay: $22.00 - $27.00 per hour
