Rosmarino Osteria Italiana is currently seeking PREP/LINE COOKS to join its team!
This will be a full time position. All candidates must share our enthusiasm for artisanal food and have a desire to learn more. A successful candidate will also work well as part of a team and approach tasks with diligence and an attention to detail in order to meet our high standards. Candidates must have a basic understanding of cooking and must be comfortable working in a small Osteria environment. At least one year of kitchen experience required. Knowledge of artisanal Italian food is a plus. A successful candidate will be responsible for:
- Food Prep & Lunch and dinner service
- Follow recipes & Chef instructions
- Completing shift work, as assigned, in a timely and thorough manner in accordance with Chef Dario or Sous Chef
- Maintaining sanitation and orderliness of all equipment, supplies within working area
- Following principles of sanitation and safety in handling food and equipment, ensuring corporate and OSHA safety standards are followed.
A successful candidate must be:
- At least 18 years old.
- Able to lift and carry 60lb.
- Able to work independently.
- Able to work on your feet for long periods of time.
- Flexible with working hours.
- Available on weekends
- Required Experience: At least 1 year in a kitchen environment .
COMPENSATION:
- $19 to start
- Year raise
- Providence Health Insurance after 90 days period available
