**MUST HAVE PRIOR PIZZA MAKING AND KITCHEN EXPERIENCE**
We are seeking a dynamic and energetic Food Prep Cook/Pizza Maker to join our vibrant culinary team! Duties
- Prepare a variety of menu items with precision, including pizzas, salads, sandwiches, and other dishes according to established recipes and standards
- Operate kitchen equipment such as ovens, mixers, slicers, and food processors safely and efficiently
- Follow food safety protocols and maintain cleanliness throughout the kitchen area to ensure a hygienic environment
- Assist with meal assembly, portioning, and plating to ensure consistency and presentation quality
- Support menu planning by suggesting new ideas and ensuring ingredient availability for daily operations
- Communicate effectively with kitchen staff to coordinate food prep activities and meet service times
- Maintain proper food handling techniques, including knife skills and slicing techniques for efficiency and safety
Requirements
- Previous experience in food service, restaurant kitchens, or culinary environments is highly preferred
- Knowledge of dietary department standards and dietary aide experience is a plus
- Strong understanding of food safety management practices and safety standards in production
- Ability to handle multiple tasks efficiently in a fast-paced setting while maintaining attention to detail
- Excellent communication skills for effective teamwork with kitchen staff and front-of-house personnel
- Experience with menu planning, recipe adherence, and meal preparation techniques
- Familiarity with operating various kitchen equipment safely and effectively
- Catering experience or food industry background is advantageous but not required
