Job Summary
We are seeking an energetic, organized, and motivated Bar Manager to lead our dynamic bar and hospitality team. In this pivotal role, you will oversee daily operations, ensure exceptional customer service, and maintain a vibrant, welcoming atmosphere. Your leadership will drive the success of our bar services, manage staff, control inventory, and uphold the highest standards of food safety and cleanliness. Experience in craft cocktails/mixology, food preparation/cooking, and bar management roles specifically in fine dining is required.
Duties
- Supervise daily bar operations, including food and beverage service, ensuring efficiency and quality.
- Lead, train, and develop staff to deliver outstanding customer experiences while maintaining team motivation.
- Manage inventory control by monitoring stock levels, ordering supplies, and minimizing waste.
- Oversee food preparation processes related to bar offerings, including cooking and presentation standards.
- Handle POS systems such as Toast POS for accurate cash handling and sales processing.
- Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and maintain cleanliness standards across the bar area.
- Conduct shift management by scheduling staff, overseeing performance, and resolving customer issues promptly.
Skills
- Proven experience in mixology, craft cocktails, food preparation, cooking, and managing bar services in fine dining settings.
- Strong knowledge of POS systems like Toast POS for efficient transactions.
- Excellent team management skills with experience in staff training, supervising, interviewing, and leadership.
- Solid understanding of inventory control, food safety management, and food handling protocols.
- Ability to perform basic math accurately for cash handling and profit/loss analysis.
- Experience with restaurant management including shift management, budgeting, and food production.
- Exceptional customer service skills combined with managerial communication abilities to lead hospitality teams effectively.
Pay: $18.00 per hour
