Teacher Level 2: Advanced Teacher
* Actively acknowledge and positively speak to all children in the classroom.
* Consistently understands and follows the center’s policies and procedure.
* Actively talks to children on a child’s level throughout the day during activities.
* Positively communicate, engage and greet parents in the classroom, and common areas throughout the school.
* Follow and proactively maintain proper staff/child ratios as set by the state licensing entity.
* Upload basic needs and safety checks: name to face, sleep checks, pictures (three per week), portfolios into the Lightbridge Journey App and messages are answered in a professional manner.
* Completes the Daily Classroom Cleaning Checklist while maintaining clean and organize classrooms daily based on Lightbridge Academy and Health/Sanitation standards.
* Properly “Opens” or “Closes” the classroom/pod.
* Maintains a positive relationship with co-workers.
* Maintains confidentiality and follows the center’s Social Media Policy.
* Implement positive reinforcement and redirection of children’s behavior, in accordance with Lightbridge Academy’s Discipline Policy.
* Supervise children by sight and sound in the classroom.
* Supervise children by sight and sound in the Outdoor Learning Environment during “outdoor” time.
* Actively participate in required trainings, meetings, conferences ect. either on or off site.
* Carries out the Lightbridge Academy Seedlings© curriculum and curriculum enhancements while following the classroom daily schedule with Lightbridge Academy’s quality standards. Participate in parent-teacher conferences. Ensures all classroom boards are updated every 30 days.
* Feeds children per class schedule and/or individualized feeding schedule and ensures that individualized feeding schedules and the class schedule are up to date.
* Diapers children every two hours or following their toilet training schedule as applicable.
* Coordinates and actively engages in classroom activities.
* Completes the written portion of accident/incident reports in a timely manner including teacher signature while notifying the administrative team as appropriate/needed.
* Perform other duties as assigned.

* Thorough knowledge of teaching best practice
* Well-organized and committed
* Highly organized with the ability to multitask and remain calm under pressure
* Ability to use technology into the classroom and as a tool to communicate with families.
* Ability to establish and maintain cooperative and effective working relationships with others.
Pay: $17.00 - $19.50 per hour
