About the role
This is primarily a membership sales role. At Hand & Stone Hillsborough , your core responsibility is converting guests into members — and we've built the environment to make that achievable. This location sees close to 100 prospects walk through the door every month, giving you consistent, warm opportunities to sell.
If you're a natural with people, motivated by commission, and want to work in a positive spa environment, this role is for you.
What you can earn
- Associates start at $17/hr with realistic total earnings of $24/hr or more through commission. Here's how:
- Membership commission: $10–$35 per membership sold, depending on type.
- Monthly bonus: Sell 25 memberships in a month and earn an additional $100.
- Bi-weekly performance bonus: Sell 12+ memberships in a two-week period and earn an extra $2/hr for every hour worked those two weeks.
- Gift card commission: Additional earnings on every gift card sale.
What you'll do
- Enroll guests in our monthly membership program — this is your primary focus
- Welcome and check in clients with warmth and professionalism
- Handle scheduling, phones, and client inquiries
- Sell retail products and gift cards
- Keep the front desk and lobby area clean and organized
What we're looking for
- Sales-minded, outgoing, and comfortable asking for the close
- Prior experience in sales, hospitality, or customer service preferred
- Reliable, detail-oriented, and a strong communicator
- Flexible availability including evenings and weekends
- High school diploma or equivalent required
