Job Description - Special Detail
Temporary part time resulting in Full Time Permenant
This assignment will be to monitor a fire source, and report the status of the flame hourly. You will be required to set in close proxcementry but at the same time be able to move around and exit the area, briefly, to cool off.
An additional assignment that may be offered would allow you the opportunity to move around a property monitoring while using your scenes to seek out and identify any evidence of a potential fire or hazard. You will walk and check critical areas of a production facility while work is being done. You will be paid bi-weekly via direct deposit and most importantly be a part of a team of individuals earer to protect lives and property. Time is not guaranteed. You will work when the cooking has been completed.
This particular and primary assignment covers two shift as identified below:
Two Shifts
a) 0530am to 5:00pm - Deer Park Texas
b) 5:00pm to 0130am - Deer Park Texas
c) the additional assignment mentioned earlier - Pasadena, TX
*Casual business attire is acceptable, to include safety, non-skid/slip footwear.
* WE PAY for training hours. Training is a minimum wage up to the point where to you
accept the safety responsibility. The faster you learn and understand, the faster we pay you the hourly wage that appears in this AD. WE PAY overtime on all hours over 40 a week.
*You will be required to pass a drug test.
*You will be required to pass a local and statewide background check.
* Training can start as early as this week.
* This is a temporary position with the understanding that if your attendance, and overall work performance are acceptable, you "could" be considered for full and/or part time position.
You must live within a 20 minute drive from the assignment.
*Requirements - communicate the English language, have the physical ability carry a 40 pound fire extinguisher up a staircase at least one story. Have reliable transportation. Be available to work any shift. Have zero felony convictions.
