In this role, you will be one of the first faces visitors see as they explore one of Casper’s most unique historic attractions. From welcoming guests and processing admissions to assisting with gift shop purchases and sharing information about local history, every day offers the opportunity to connect with the community and help bring history to life.

Incumbents are responsible for providing courteous customer service and cashier services; including collecting admission fees, answering phones, responding to customer questions, and related work as required.
REPORTING STRUCTURE:
Receives direct supervision from higher level supervisory and management staff.
1. Provides front line customer service needs at a facility entrance.
2. Collects admission fees, pre-packaged food purchases, and/or retail items and maintains related records to follow City policies and procedures relating to accounts receivable tasks.
3. Counts money in cash drawers at the beginning and end of shifts to ensure that amounts are correct and there is adequate change available.
4. Stocks supplies such as food or retail sales inventory in a safe and efficient manner.
5. Maintains clean and orderly cashier station and performs basic routine cleaning tasks.
6. Provides general customer service and communication with the public regarding safety, policies, rules, and general information about the facility or event.
7. Represents the City of Casper by responding to the public, citizens, its employees, and others in a prompt, professional, and courteous manner while continuously maintaining a positive customer service demeanor.
8. Performs other duties of a similar nature or level.

- Handle multiple customers at the same time.
- Learn general layout of facility to provide assistance to visitors and customers.
