Langdon Place of Dover is seeking an experienced and motivated Housekeeping Supervisor to lead our Environmental Services team. This position is responsible for overseeing the daily housekeeping operations of the facility, ensuring a clean, safe, and comfortable environment for residents, visitors, and staff.
The ideal candidate will have strong leadership skills, attention to detail, and a commitment to maintaining the highest standards of cleanliness and customer service.
Supervising and supporting housekeeping staff on a daily basis
Scheduling staff and ensuring adequate departmental coverage
Training and mentoring team members on cleaning procedures, safety practices, and infection control standards
Conducting routine inspections of resident rooms, common areas, and facility spaces
Maintaining departmental supplies and inventory
Ensuring compliance with infection control, OSHA, and facility policies
Assisting with housekeeping duties as needed
Addressing resident, family, and staff concerns in a professional manner
Previous housekeeping experience required
Prior supervisory experience preferred
Healthcare, long-term care, or senior living experience preferred
Strong organizational, communication, and leadership skills
Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities
Knowledge of infection control and environmental services standards is a plus
