Duties
- Prepare and serve a variety of coffee drinks, teas, and specialty beverages with precision and flair
- Manage cash handling duties, including cashiering and basic retail math to ensure correct transactions
- Provide outstanding customer service by greeting guests warmly, answering questions, and addressing concerns promptly
- Maintain cleanliness and food safety standards in food preparation areas and throughout the café environment
- Assist with food handling and food safety procedures during food preparation and serving processes
- Manage time effectively during busy periods to ensure quick service without compromising quality
- Restock supplies, organize workstations, and support team members to keep operations running smoothly
Qualifications
- Previous barista experience or background in the food service or retail industry preferred
- Familiarity with POS systems is highly desirable
- Strong customer service skills with a friendly, energetic attitude
- Excellent time management skills to handle multiple tasks efficiently in a fast-paced environment
- Basic math skills for cash handling, retail math, and café operations
- Knowledge of food safety standards and proper food handling procedures
- Ability to stand for extended periods and perform physical tasks involved in food preparation and serving
- Experience in coffee preparation, serving beverages, or working in a café setting is a plus
