Position Summary:
The Houseman supports housekeeping operations and guest services by ensuring timely room support, efficient logistics, and prompt fulfillment of guest requests. This role contributes directly to delivering a seamless boutique hotel experience through professionalism, responsiveness, and operational support.
Key Responsibilities:
- Guest Service & Amenity Delivery
- Respond promptly to guest requests communicated by the Front Desk, PBX or Housekeeping Supervisor.
- Deliver requested items such as:
- Shaving kits
- Dental kits
- Vanity kits
- Slippers
- Extra towels and pillows
- Verify room numbers and requested items before delivery.
- Knock, announce service, and wait before entering guest rooms.
- Provide courteous and professional guest interactions at all times.
- Complete guest requests within 5–10 minutes.
- Communicate with completed requests to PBX, Front Desk, or supervisor.
- Housekeeping Support
- Assist Room Attendants by delivering clean linens, towels, and guest amenities.
- Remove soiled linens, trash, and recycling from guest floors and service areas.
- Support deep cleaning projects and furniture movement as needed.
- Help maintain housekeeping productivity and room readiness standards.
