Litigation Paralegal — Miami, FL
A well-established litigation practice is seeking an experienced Litigation Paralegal to join its Miami office. We're looking for a seasoned professional with at least 5 years of litigation paralegal experience, including hands-on trial experience, to support our attorneys and case teams.
Compensation: $60,000–$85,000 annually, commensurate with experience, plus eligibility for a discretionary bonus.
What You'll Do
- Assist with drafting legal documents
- Prepare and file documents electronically via Lexis File and Serve
- Handle e-filing responsibilities
- Organize and maintain electronic case files
- Build and manage checklists, calendars, and case timetables, coordinating distribution to internal team members and outside counsel
- Support trial preparation and provide on-the-ground trial support
- Draft and file a range of legal documents
What We're Looking For
- Strong organizational and communication skills, paired with a positive, energetic approach to the work
- Solid working knowledge of standard office and legal software, including word processing, internet research, spreadsheets, and databases (proficiency in MS Word, Excel, and Outlook required)
- Ability to grasp legal concepts and procedures relevant to the practice area, along with strong time management, prioritization, and multitasking skills to juggle competing deadlines
Education & Experience
- Bachelor's degree or a paralegal certificate from an ABA-approved program required
- Minimum 5 years of litigation paralegal experience at an AmLaw 100 firm or a top litigation boutique
