Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Housekeeper to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness and orderliness in various settings, ensuring a welcoming environment for guests and residents. Responsibilities
- Perform thorough cleaning of assigned areas, including bedrooms, bathrooms, kitchens, and common areas.
- Execute custodial tasks such as dusting, vacuuming, mopping floors, and sanitizing surfaces.
- Manage laundry duties, including washing, drying, folding, and organizing linens and towels.
- Ensure all cleaning supplies are stocked and report any maintenance issues or required repairs.
- Adhere to safety protocols while using cleaning chemicals and equipment.
- Collaborate with housekeeping management to maintain quality standards and address any guest requests or concerns promptly.
- Participate in special cleaning projects as needed, including deep cleaning or industrial cleaning tasks.
Experience
- Previous experience in housekeeping or custodial roles is preferred but not required; training will be provided.
- Familiarity with floor care techniques and equipment is a plus.
- Experience in hospitality settings such as hotels or resorts is advantageous.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently or as part of a team.
- Excellent time management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
