We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Construction Superintendent to support construction projects at DFW Airport. This role involves assisting with project coordination, scheduling, and management tasks to ensure successful project delivery. The ideal candidate will have a solid understanding of construction management principles, excellent organizational skills, and experience working on construction sites.
Duties
- Assist in developing and maintaining project schedules using construction management software
- Support project coordination efforts by liaising between contractors, suppliers, and internal teams
- Review blueprints, schematics, and contracts to ensure project specifications are met
- Contribute to construction estimating and cost control activities using HeavyBid or similar tools
- Monitor construction site activities to ensure compliance with safety standards and project timelines
- Assist in tracking project progress and preparing reports for stakeholders
- Support the review of construction drawings and schematics for accuracy and completeness
- Coordinate procurement of materials and equipment as needed for ongoing projects
- Help manage project documentation, including change orders, RFIs, and submittals
- Participate in site meetings and assist in resolving issues that may impact project schedules or budgets
Skills
- Proficiency with construction management software such as ProCore, Primavera P6, Civil 3D, Bluebeam, HeavyBid, and other relevant tools
- Strong knowledge of construction estimating, project scheduling, and contract management
- Experience with construction site operations and blueprint reading
- Ability to interpret schematics and technical drawings accurately
- Excellent time management skills with the ability to prioritize multiple tasks effectively
- Solid understanding of construction management principles including project coordination, safety protocols, and quality control
- Effective communication skills for collaborating with diverse teams and stakeholders
Pay: $80,000.00 - $100,000.00 per year
