Ski Town Early Learning Center (formerly Heritage Park Preschool) is a non-profit private early learning center in beautiful Steamboat Springs, Colorado. Having recently relocated and expanded, we offer high-quality care and education for children from infancy through pre-kindergarten. We are seeking a dedicated, full-time Early Childhood Educator to join our collaborative team in our Preschool classroom!
Key Responsibilities
- Curriculum & Instruction: Design and implement age-appropriate, hands-on preschool curriculum that supports holistic child development and kindergarten readiness.
- Classroom Environment: Foster a safe, positive, and inclusive learning atmosphere that promotes children’s social-emotional skills, spiritual growth, and moral values.
- Classroom Management: Manage group dynamics effectively using positive guidance strategies to maintain a supportive space for active learning.
- Parent Communication: Build strong partnerships with families through regular updates on their child’s progress, milestones, and daily activities.
- Team Collaboration: Work alongside fellow educators and staff to enhance the overall educational experience and school culture.
Requirements

Compensation & Pay Structure
- Base Rate: $22.00/hour for candidates working toward their qualification.
- Credentialed Rate: $25.00 – $31.50/hour (DOE) upon holding or attaining a Colorado Shines Credential Level 2 or higher. (Note: Employees starting without a Level 2 can typically obtain it within 1 to 6 months).
Pay: $22.00 - $31.50 per hour
