Duties
- Control access points using advanced access control systems, verifying identities and authorizations of visitors, staff, and contractors
- Conduct regular patrols of the property to ensure safety, identify hazards, and prevent theft or vandalism
- Respond promptly to emergency situations by executing established emergency response procedures, including fire safety protocols and medical emergencies
- Write detailed incident reports documenting security events, accidents, or violations with clarity and accuracy
- Perform background checks on prospective employees or vendors as part of the screening process
- Assist visitors with inquiries, provide directions, and deliver excellent customer service to foster a positive environment
Skills
- Proven experience in physical security roles, law enforcement, military service or related fields with a strong understanding of security protocols
- Ability to perform manual handling tasks including heavy lifting when necessary for equipment or supplies
- Competence in incident report writing with attention to detail and transparency
- Strong customer service orientation combined with excellent communication skills
- Understanding of compliance with security regulations and heavy lifting safety standards
