Now Hiring: Laser & Press Brake Machine Operator
Are you looking to start a rewarding career in manufacturing? Join our team as a Laser & Press Brake Machine Operator! This position will operate a laser machine to perform laser cutting for a variety of work orders and company requirements. You may also operate a variety of other machines as needed.
Pay Range: $20.00-$27.00 ($2.50 shift differential)
Schedule: 2nd shift; Monday – Thursday, 4:00 PM – 2:30 AM. 3-day weekend every week!
What You’ll Do:
- Perform typical laser cutting operations
- Select proper cutting programs, and proper fixtures
- Make proper set-ups for cutting operations
- Set up and operate press brake machines to bend and form metal parts
- Read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings accurately
- Perform precise measurements and calculations using basic math
- Perform prescribed maintenance as required
- Perform all dimensional inspections
- Detect and report defective materials or questionable conditions to the manager/supervisor. Complete part clean up according to specifications
- Complete all paperwork, material issues, and print tags according to the process
- Work at different workstations as production needs require

What We’re Looking For:
- Experience in a manufacturing setting
- Experience operating laser cutting machines (Trumpf) preferred
- Strong blueprint reading and interpretation skills
- Solid understanding of basic math for accurate fabrication
- Experience with machining, laser cutting, or fabrication is a plus
- Familiarity with micrometers, calipers, and other measurement tools
- Forklift and crane operation experience is an advantage
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing quality work
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Physical Requirements: Regularly required to stand; use hands to finger, handle, or feel; reach with hands and arms; and talk or hear. Regularly lift and/or move up to 10 pounds and frequently lift and/or move up to 25 pounds; and occasionally lift up to 75 pounds unassisted.
