What You’ll Do
- Optimize injection molding and/or other plastics manufacturing processes to improve efficiency, quality, and cycle time.
- Set up and adjusts machinery such as plastic molding machines, grinders, dryers, plus any other type of auxiliary equipment.
- May be responsible for assuming supervisor's duties during absences or breaks.
- Orientates, trains and assists Material Handlers.
- Reviews production and operating reports and resolves operational, manufacturing, and maintenance problems to job change forecasts printed from Plant Star system.
- Inspect machines and equipment to ensure specific operational performance and optimum utilization.
- Performs safe and efficient mold changes .
- Trouble shoot difficulties in running jobs to make them run to the highest possible potential and work with the production personnel to solve any other molding problems.
Education & Experience
· Two + years of related experience in a manufacturing environment, preferably plastics processing.
· Equivalent combination of education, hands-on experience, and technical training will be considered.

Pay: $45,000.00 - $50,000.00 per year
