Position Summary: The Assistant Golf Professional is responsible for establishing and maintaining a relationship with current Members while attending to the day-to-day business needs of the Golf Shop and Golf Club. They will be working closely with the Head Golf Professional(s) in the Golf Shop promoting Tee Time options.
Position Responsibilities

Maintain and develop strong relationships with current members to encourage participation in club events and maintain a high level of member satisfaction.

Effectively communicates with management staff and associates to increase knowledge of membership goals, membership satisfaction, membership retention, and membership activities.

Meet and greet clients and visitors

Work to develop comprehensive knowledge of golf in decision-making, handling authority and setting meeting objectives

Skilled and proficient in all Golf training techniques
-
Assist in implementing an instruction and lesson platform for members and guests

Effectively communicates to guests
-
Sign for and distribute UPS/FedEx/Airborne Packages

Assist in monthly inventory reporting and calculations

Manage existing cart fleet and all cart management programs

Tangible knowledge of POS system (Jonas preferred) and Tee Sheet Management

Organization of all Tee Sheet activity for members, outside guests, and Academy Golf students

Coordination of all outside Golf Tournaments, working with clients to insure smooth transition from start to finish

Management of all outside and inside Golf staff

Assist in establishing policies and procedures for outside and inside Golf staff

Adhering to all company policies, procedures and business ethic codes

Knowledge, Skills and Ability

Bachelors degree in accounting, business or related field
