About us:
THE ranch is a large property on Lake Austin just outside of Austin City limits and home of a C-level executive. The property consists of a main home, guest house, workshop, pool, wellness center, boat house and meticulously maintained grounds. THE ranch is supported by an Estate Manager and an on site maintenance team. The team’s responsibility is to ensure the property is held to the highest standards of safety, beauty, and cleanliness. General Statement of Job:
Assist the Facility Lead with the care, upkeep and maintenance of the estate. Must be willing to work outside in all weather. Must be passionate about wanting to learn and not afraid to get dirty. Attention to detail is critical.
General knowledge of the following helpful: carpentry, horticulture, plumbing, electrical/mechanical systems, use/maintenance of all types of power tools.
Essential Job Functions:
- Repair/modify landscape irrigation system
- Repair/modify landscape lighting
- Proper and safe use of equipment and tools
- Maintain/modify turf and landscape beds
- Perform/conduct minor electrical repairs
- Perform/conduct pool and spa maintenance
- Repair/maintain/modify interior and exterior of building structures
Minimum Qualifications and Requirements:
- Minimum 18+ years of age
- High School diploma (or GED)
- Valid Drivers License
- Fluent (speak, read and write) in English, Spanish speaking a plus
- Must have reliable transportation
- Must be a dependable team player, mature, enthusiastic, hard working, sociable and respectful
What we can offer:
- Full-time, 40/hrs per week, 9-5, M-F
- $18+/hr depending on qualifications
