About the Role
A prominent manufacturing firm is looking for an Industrial Maintenance Technician to handle the upkeep, modification, repair, and troubleshooting of facility systems, lift trucks, and production machinery. This role requires a proactive approach within a demanding, high-speed manufacturing setting.
Core Duties-
Execute routine preventive maintenance tasks on manufacturing machinery.

Identify and resolve issues within pneumatic, hydraulic, electrical, and mechanical systems.

Help extend equipment lifespan by conducting inspections, changing filters, and applying lubricants.

Address equipment malfunctions quickly to ensure production continuity and reduce operational downtime.

Maintain and service skid-steer loaders and lift trucks.

Handle general facility upkeep, such as door repairs and lighting maintenance.

Carry out necessary fabrication and welding tasks.

Document all repair and maintenance activities with precision.

Ensure the production team is supported by providing rapid responses to equipment failures.

Promote a secure workplace by strictly adhering to all established maintenance and safety protocols.
Requirements-
Completion of high school or a GED equivalent.

Minimum of two years working in industrial or mechanical maintenance.

Proven background in repairing and diagnosing manufacturing machinery.

Proficiency in working with pneumatic and hydraulic systems.

Capability to interpret electrical schematics and perform basic electrical troubleshooting.

Demonstrated ability to operate power tools, hand tools, and specialized maintenance gear safely.

Background in fabrication or welding.

Ability to thrive in a physically active and fast-moving work environment.
Desired Qualifications-
Experience repairing skid-steer loaders or lift trucks.

Familiarity with foundry machinery, such as furnaces, sand-transport systems, shakeout systems, or sand machines.

Minimum of one year of experience with electrical wiring.

Experience in building and facility maintenance.
Role Specifications-
Full-time employment.
-
Five days a week with shifts ranging from eight to ten hours.

Must be available to work on Saturdays when required.
