We are seeking a Licensed Nursing Home Administrator. Our Administrators operate their individual facilities, but have the support of their fellow leaders in a cluster facility model. Fellow administrators in the cluster partner closely with each other to challenge, support, encourage, celebrate and learn from each other. We provide our operators with the tools and resources they need to succeed, but also encourage creativity and an entrepreneurial spirit in our leadership.
Pay: Starting at$90,000/yr., Based on experience, wage can increase
- There is also the opportunity to receive performance based bonuses
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Directs the day-to-day operations of a skilled nursing facility
- Ensures delivery of quality skilled nursing and therapy services to residents
- Employs and supervises competent and qualified department managers
- Delegates appropriate operational responsibility for delivery of services and performance of administrative requirements to department managers
- Develops and implements facility policies and procedures
- Makes reports/recommendations to the facility’s governing body
- Performs regular rounds and inspections of the facility
- Participates in facility surveys (inspections) performed by government agencies and develops any necessary plans of correction for deficiencies
- Maintains professional relationships with facility personnel, residents and their family members
- Engages in positive community relations that serve the best interest of the facility
- Serves on facility committees (e.g., Infection Control, Quality Assurance & Assessment)
- Attends market and cluster meetings and is an active partner within the facility’s market
Requirements:
- Must be a licensed Administrator with the State of Wisconsin or a compact state with ability to transfer license.
- Minimum 2-3 years long-term care experience (Skilled Nursing Facility).
- Strong understanding of state and federal laws and regulations regarding the operation of skilled nursing facilities.
- Exceptional leadership and communication skills.
- Strong financial management/budget skills with the ability to meet quality care and compliance standards.
