Duties
- Prepare and serve a variety of beverages including cocktails, craft beers, wines, and spirits with precision and flair.
- Take food and beverage orders accurately using POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS, ensuring timely delivery.
- Provide exceptional customer service by engaging with guests warmly, answering questions about menu items, and making personalized recommendations.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area, adhering to food safety and sanitation standards.
- Manage cash transactions efficiently, process payments accurately, and handle cash handling responsibilities with integrity.
- Develop new beverage recipes and contribute to menu updates to keep offerings fresh and exciting.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth restaurant operations during busy hours and special events like banquets or catering functions.
Experience
- Previous experience in food service or hospitality industry roles is highly preferred, especially in fine dining or upscale venues.
- Demonstrated expertise in mixology, cocktail creation, wine knowledge, and beverage recipe development.
- Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS is essential for order processing and cash handling.
- Strong time management skills to juggle multiple tables or bar stations efficiently during peak hours.
- Experience working with spirits, craft beer, brewing processes, and food safety standards is advantageous.
- Proven ability to deliver outstanding customer service in fast-paced environments while maintaining professionalism.
- Catering or banquet experience is a plus for supporting large events and group service needs.
