We are seeking an EXPERIENCED Foreman/Equipment Operator. A valid driver's license is required and reliable transportation to and from work. Travel may be to job sites at times. Class A CDL is highly preferred.
All positions involve labor at times.
Foreman/Equipment Operator Responsibilities:
- Manage the production of a job from start to finish or various parts of a job depending on scheduling
- Manage a crew of various skill levels
- Safe operation of all excavation equipment and motor vehicles
- Knowledge and experience in the excavation and backfill of a foundation
- Experience in site grading and soils classifications
- Exposing/replacing service and main utilities
- Plan/blueprint reading/understanding
- Problem solving and effective communication with onsite personnel
- Willingness to be a laborer at times
- Properly maintain equipment and pickups daily
Laborer Responsibilities:
- Observe and maintain safety at all times
- Hand digging/grading
- Check grade using a rotating laser
- Cleanliness of onsite workspace
- Teamwork and effective communication with all personnel
Requirements: (both positions)
- Ability to sit or stand for long periods of time
- Willingness to work outside in all weather conditions
- Willingness to work at various locations
- Able to follow directions and take initiative
- Always willing to learn and improve performance
- 40+ hour work weeks
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $25.00 - $30.00 per hour
