From raising premium elk and producing nutrient-dense elk products to manufacturing specialty supplements and wellness products, we are building a nationally recognized brand centered around quality, transparency, and innovation.
Our brands currently serve customers through direct-to-consumer sales, wholesale partnerships, retailers, distributors, e-commerce platforms, and specialty agricultural markets. We are entering a rapid growth phase and are seeking a Chief Marketing Officer to help scale our branded product sales and establish Noble Elk Farm and Cervid Labs as category leaders.
Position Overview
The Chief Marketing Officer will be responsible for driving revenue growth across all branded product channels, including:
- Direct-to-Consumer (DTC)
- E-commerce
- Amazon Marketplace
- Wholesale Accounts
- Retail Partnerships
- Distributor Relationships
This role will lead marketing strategy, brand development, customer acquisition, digital advertising, retail expansion initiatives, and overall revenue growth efforts.
The ideal candidate is both a strategic leader and hands-on operator who understands how to build brands, acquire customers, and create scalable growth systems.
Key ResponsibilitiesBrand Growth
- Develop and execute comprehensive marketing strategies for Noble Elk Farm and Cervid Labs.
- Strengthen brand awareness and positioning across all channels.
- Maintain consistent messaging and visual identity.
Direct-to-Consumer Growth
- Increase website traffic, conversion rates, and customer lifetime value.
- Oversee email marketing, SMS marketing, loyalty programs, and retention campaigns.
- Manage digital advertising across Meta, Google, YouTube, and other platforms.
Retail & Wholesale Expansion
- Develop programs that increase retail placement and shelf presence.
- Support distributor relationships and retailer acquisition efforts.
- Create promotional campaigns that drive sell-through at retail locations.
E-Commerce & Marketplace Management
- Oversee Amazon growth strategy and marketplace optimization.
- Improve product listings, content, reviews, and conversion performance.
- Monitor key performance indicators and profitability.
Content & Community Building
- Lead content creation initiatives including video, social media, storytelling, and customer engagement.
- Highlight the farm, manufacturing operations, product sourcing, and customer success stories.
Analytics & Performance
- Track KPIs including revenue growth, customer acquisition cost, return on ad spend, retention, conversion rates, and profitability.
- Provide monthly growth reports and strategic recommendations.
Qualifications
- 5+ years of marketing leadership experience.
- Proven experience growing consumer brands.
- Experience with Shopify, Amazon, Meta Ads, Google Ads, email marketing, and analytics platforms.
- Strong understanding of customer acquisition and retention strategies.
- Experience managing budgets and marketing teams.
- Excellent communication and leadership skills.

Compensation & Incentives
In addition to base compensation, this role will participate in a performance-based incentive program tied directly to:
- Branded product revenue growth
- Direct-to-consumer growth
- Retail and wholesale account expansion
- Profitability improvements
- Strategic milestone achievements
