Duties
- Prepare and serve a variety of beverages, including cocktails, beer, wine, and non-alcoholic options, ensuring quality and presentation standards are met.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area, including glassware, utensils, and supplies.
- Support bartenders by restocking supplies, garnishes, and beverages quickly and efficiently.
- Assist with food service when needed, including serving snacks or light dishes in a timely manner.
- Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and responsible alcohol service policies at all times.
- Manage POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS for accurate order processing and cash handling.
- Engage with guests warmly to create a welcoming environment while managing multiple tasks efficiently through excellent time management skills.
- Support nightclub or banquet events by setting up bars, serving guests, and maintaining a lively yet safe atmosphere.
- Handle cash transactions accurately using retail math principles; process payments swiftly and securely.
- Collaborate with team members to uphold high standards of customer service in both casual dining and fine dining settings.
Experience
Candidates MUST have at least 2 years of experience in a Fine dining, cocktail and wine environment such as restaurants, nightclubs, private clubs or event centers. Experience working with POS systems like Aloha or Micros is highly desirable. Familiarity with food safety standards and proper food handling techniques is essential to ensure compliance and guest safety. Candidates should demonstrate strong math skills for cash handling and retail math proficiency. Excellent communication skills combined with a proactive attitude are key to thriving in this energetic role.
