Responsibilities
- Diagnose and repair HVAC systems including air conditioning units, boilers, refrigeration equipment, and building automation systems using schematics, electrical diagnostics, and mechanical knowledge.
- Perform installations of HVAC equipment, ensuring compliance with safety standards and manufacturer specifications.
- Conduct routine maintenance on HVAC/R systems to optimize performance and extend equipment lifespan.
- Troubleshoot electrical systems, plumbing connections, refrigeration components, and mechanical systems using hand tools, ohmmeters, welding equipment, and other diagnostic tools.
- Collaborate with clients to explain system issues clearly and recommend effective solutions to enhance their property’s comfort and efficiency.
- Maintain accurate service records, reports, and logs for all repairs, installations, and maintenance activities.
- Support property maintenance tasks related to HVAC systems or appliances as needed to ensure building safety and functionality.
Experience
- Proven experience as a service technician in HVAC commercial or residential environments with a strong understanding of HVAC system repair and maintenance.
- Construction experience or background in building systems is highly advantageous.
- Familiarity with schematics, HVAC design principles, electrical diagnostics, refrigeration cycles, plumbing systems, and mechanical repairs.
- Hands-on experience with HVAC system installation, equipment troubleshooting, boiler operation, ammonia refrigeration (preferred), and building automation systems.
- Ability to operate hand tools efficiently; welding or appliance repair skills are a plus.
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record; CDL or <PERSON> driver certification is beneficial.
- EPA certification for refrigerants; knowledge of electrical systems and property maintenance is desirable.
- Mechanical knowledge combined with excellent customer service skills ensures effective communication with clients while delivering top-tier service.

Pay: $21.00 - $35.00 per hour
