Job Summary:
The Purchasing Agent / Warehouse Manager oversees purchasing, inventory control, warehouse operations, logistics coordination, and rebate administration across all company divisions. This role ensures materials, equipment, and resources are procured, managed, and deployed efficiently to support company operations and project success while driving cost savings, operational efficiency, and continuous improvement.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities
Purchasing Agent Duties:

Manage purchasing activities, purchase orders, and supplier relationships.
- Negotiate pricing, terms, and delivery schedules.
- Monitor pricing, lead times, and product availability while identifying cost-saving opportunities.
- Coordinate procurement activities to meet operational and project requirements.
Warehouse Manager Duties:

Oversee inventory control, warehouse operations, and material distribution.
- Maintain accurate inventory and asset records through audits and cycle counts.
- Ensure warehouse organization, security, safety, and regulatory compliance.

Coordinate project logistics, deliveries, transportation, and material flow.
- Collaborate with operations, production, project management, and field teams to support project execution.
- Supervise warehouse and logistics personnel, including scheduling, training, performance management, and development.
- Manage manufacturer, utility, and government rebate and incentive programs.
- Prepare operational reports, analyze performance metrics, and recommend process improvements.
- Assist with budgeting, forecasting, strategic planning, and other operational initiatives.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:

Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Logistics, Operations Management, or a related field preferred.
- Five (5) or more years of experience in purchasing, warehouse, logistics, inventory, or operations management.
- Previous supervisory experience required.

Experience with ERP, purchasing, inventory, and warehouse management systems.
Job Requirements

- Excellent vendor negotiation, cost-control, and project coordination skills.
- Strong leadership, communication, organizational, analytical, and problem-solving abilities.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office and inventory management software.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
Certifications (Preferred)

Safety/Physical Requirements:

Primarily office and warehouse environment with regular movement throughout facilities.
- Ability to occasionally lift up to 50 pounds.
- Frequent standing, walking, bending, and reaching.
- Ability to operate warehouse equipment and inspect inventory, equipment, and facilities.

Ability to travel locally between company locations, vendors, and project
- Must be able to work in varying warehouse, shop, and outdoor environments.
Reports to: CEO
Pay Rate: $80k - $100k
Classification: Full-time, Exempt
Supervisory: This position has less than 10 reporting employees
