Executive Assistant to Founder
About the Role
Little Trouble is looking for a highly organized, proactive Executive Assistant to the Founder to help keep both the day-to-day and bigger-picture parts of the business moving.
This is not a traditional desk-only executive assistant role. You’ll work closely with the founder across all areas of the business — helping manage calendar and priorities, keeping track of follow-ups and to-dos, coordinating between teams, assisting with content when needed, and jumping into the warehouse or other projects when extra support is needed.
The right person will become a trusted right hand to the founder: someone who understands what is happening across the business, anticipates what needs to happen next, and helps make sure nothing gets dropped.
Responsibilities
- Maintain and organize ongoing to-do lists, priorities, deadlines, and follow-ups.
- Track open items across departments and follow up with team members as needed.
- Help keep communication and projects flowing between the founder and different areas of the business.
- Manage the founder’s calendar, meetings, appointments, and scheduling.
- Prepare for meetings and keep notes, action items, and next steps organized.
- Coordinate travel, reservations, appointments, and other business-related logistics.
- Organize documents, information, files, and other materials needed by the founder.
- Assist with special projects across marketing, product, operations, and the warehouse.
- Work alongside the founder in the warehouse when needed, including helping with launches, organization, product, inventory, or other operational priorities.
- Assist with branded and founder-led social content when needed, including helping prepare products, organize shoots, capture casual behind-the-scenes content, or coordinate content needs.
- Help coordinate samples, products, packages, gifting, and other brand-related projects.
- Handle miscellaneous day-to-day tasks that help the founder and business operate more efficiently.
- Identify problems or loose ends before they become bigger issues.
- Be willing to step into whatever area of the business needs support on a given day.
What We're Looking For
- Exceptionally organized and detail-oriented.
- Proactive and naturally inclined to think ahead.
- Strong follow-through and ability to keep track of many moving pieces at once.
- Comfortable working closely with a founder in a fast-moving environment.
- Able to shift priorities quickly without becoming overwhelmed.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Confident communicating with employees, vendors, agencies, and outside partners.
- Discreet and trustworthy with confidential business and personal information.
- Comfortable working independently and making judgment calls.
- Tech-savvy and comfortable learning new systems and tools.
- Willing to be hands-on and help wherever needed.
- Comfortable working in both an office and warehouse environment.
- Experience supporting a founder, executive, entrepreneur, or small business owner strongly preferred.
