Job Summary
We are seeking a dynamic and innovative Warehouse Innovation Project Manager to lead transformative initiatives within our warehouse operations. Responsibilities
- Lead the planning, execution, and delivery of warehouse innovation projects utilizing Agile, Waterfall, and other project management methodologies to ensure timely and within-budget completion.
- Develop comprehensive program strategies by conducting requirements gathering, process mapping, and business process modeling to identify opportunities for operational enhancements.
- Manage project portfolios by prioritizing initiatives based on business impact, resource availability, and risk assessments using tools such as Jira, Microsoft Project, or Smartsheet.
- Facilitate cross-functional meetings to coordinate project activities, resolve conflicts, and ensure stakeholder alignment through effective communication skills and negotiation.
- Apply Lean Six Sigma principles and Kaizen techniques to analyze root causes of operational inefficiencies and implement sustainable solutions that promote continuous improvement.
- Oversee vendor management and IT infrastructure integration to support project implementation while maintaining quality management standards.
- Monitor project progress through earned value management, scope management, risk management, and schedule tracking to ensure successful delivery aligned with organizational objectives.
Skills
- Extensive experience in project management lifecycle including scope management, time management, cost control, and risk management.
- Proven leadership in supervising teams and managing multiple projects within a program development environment.
- Strong expertise in business process analysis, requirements analysis, process management, and technical writing.
- Proficiency with PPM tools such as Primavera P6, Primavera P3, Basecamp or equivalent project scheduling software; familiarity with Jira, Trello, Confluence or SharePoint is preferred.
- Skilled in data analysis techniques including data collection and vendor management to inform decision-making processes.
- Knowledge of IT project management practices involving ERP systems or content management systems for seamless integration of new solutions.
- Excellent presentation skills with the ability to communicate complex concepts clearly across diverse audiences.
- Demonstrated competency in change management strategies to facilitate organizational adoption of new processes or technologies.
- Ability to manage project budgets effectively while maintaining focus on quality standards using methodologies such as Six Sigma or Lean Six Sigma frameworks.
