Duties
- Safely transport food from the kitchen to guest tables or designated service areas, ensuring accuracy and presentation standards are met
- Assist with food preparation tasks as needed, including plating and garnishing to enhance visual appeal
- Clear and buss tables efficiently, maintaining cleanliness and organization in dining areas
- Support the serving team by delivering beverages, condiments, and additional orders promptly
- Uphold food safety standards by handling food properly and maintaining hygiene protocols at all times
- Communicate effectively with kitchen staff and servers to coordinate timely delivery of orders and address guest needs
Qualifications
- Previous experience in food service or restaurant environments is preferred but not required; enthusiasm and willingness to learn are essential
- Knowledge of food handling, safety procedures, and basic culinary practices is advantageous
- Experience with banquet service, bussing, or kitchen operations can be beneficial
- Strong customer service skills with excellent communication abilities to engage guests warmly
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced setting while maintaining attention to detail
