Overview
We are seeking a skilled and motivated Electrician to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for installing, maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing electrical systems across various commercial and residential settings. Your expertise will ensure that electrical infrastructure operates safely, efficiently, and in compliance with all relevant codes and standards. Duties
- Install, inspect, troubleshoot, and repair electrical systems in commercial and residential environments
- Read and interpret electrical schematics, blueprints, and technical diagrams to guide installation and maintenance tasks
- Conduct electrical diagnostics using tools like ohmmeters and multimeters to identify faults or system inefficiencies
- Perform high-voltage wiring work safely according to NFPA 70 (National Fire Protection Association code) standards and local electrical codes
- Maintain compliance with electrical safety procedures while working on low voltage and high voltage systems
- Use hand tools, power tools, and specialized equipment to complete wiring, conduit bending, and system upgrades
- Collaborate with construction teams during renovation or new build projects to ensure electrical systems meet specifications
Requirements
- Proven experience as an electrician with a focus on residential or commercial electrical systems
- Strong knowledge of NFPA 70 (National Electrical Code), NEC standards, and local electrical codes
- Ability to read electrical schematics, blueprints, and schematics accurately
- Experience working with programmable logic controllers (PLCs) and troubleshooting automation systems
- Skilled in high-voltage electrical wiring, low voltage systems, and electrical blueprint reading
- Familiarity with electrical diagnostics tools such as ohmmeters and multimeters
- Construction site experience with a solid understanding of safety procedures for working at heights or in confined spaces
- Hands-on experience with renovation projects or construction environments is highly desirable
- Ability to use power tools effectively while maintaining safety standards
- Additional handyman skills or frame carpentry experience is a plus for versatile project support
