Inside Sales Representative:
This role requires someone who is highly organized, detail-focused, and self-driven. The successful candidate will provide inside sales inquiries, assist our outside sales team, and work closely with our distributor network. Dedication, focus, and meticulous attention to detail are essential for success in this position.
Key Responsibilities:
- Serve as a primary point of contact for customers, providing responsive, professional support related to product inquiries, quotations, order status, and sales coordination.
- Develop and maintain strong customer relationships through proactive communication, follow-up, and high-level service support.
- Manage daily sales order workflow, ensuring accuracy, timely processing, and coordination with internal departments.
- Track customer projects, quotations, and orders from initiation through completion while maintaining detailed and accurate records.
- Utilize CRM and ERP systems to document customer interactions, manage sales activity, monitor opportunities, and support pipeline development.
- Coordinate shipping logistics, prepare shipping documentation, and communicate delivery schedules and order updates to customers.
- Support outside sales representatives by identifying sales opportunities, qualifying leads, and facilitating account management activities.
- Assist customers with technical product questions and coordinate with vendors or internal teams to provide timely solutions.
- Analyze customer activity, market trends, and account performance to identify opportunities for growth and improved customer engagement.
- Maintain organized documentation related to order processing, standard operating procedures, customer communications, and inventory coordination.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with purchasing, warehouse, and operations teams to ensure seamless execution of customer requirements.
- Provide administrative, operational, and sales support as needed to contribute to overall department efficiency and company growth.
- Conduct proactive outreach to existing and prospective customers through warm calling, account follow-up, and targeted market canvassing to generate sales opportunities and strengthen customer relationships.
- Identify and develop new business opportunities through strategic warm calling, market canvassing, lead qualification, and ongoing customer engagement initiatives.
- Support business development efforts by conducting warm outreach to prospective clients, researching market segments, and expanding customer relationships within targeted industries.
- Perform outbound customer engagement activities, including warm calling and market canvassing, to identify potential opportunities, support pipeline growth, and increase market presence.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s Degree in business or a related field
- Minimum of 1 year of experience in sales administration or sales support
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with high reading comprehension
- Strong understanding of customer service principles and best practices
- Ability to maintain a strong focus on quality, with meticulous attention to detail
- Excellent time management skills; ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines
- Flexible and adaptable to changing work demands
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel) and CRM software
- Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work independently
