Responsibilities
- Prepare and assemble food items efficiently while maintaining quality standards and food safety protocols
- Operate POS (Point of Sale) systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS for accurate order processing and transactions
- Manage customer orders with enthusiasm, upselling menu items to enhance sales and customer satisfaction
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace, ensuring sanitation and safety regulations are consistently followed
- Handle cash register operations, process cash and card transactions accurately, and balance registers at shift end
- Assist in food handling, serving customers promptly, and ensuring a positive dining experience
- Operate kitchen equipment safely and effectively, supporting food preparation and cooking tasks
- Support retail sales transactions if applicable, including grocery or café sales in a quick service environment
- Demonstrate excellent time management skills to handle high-volume periods smoothly
- Uphold food safety standards through proper sanitation practices and food handling procedures
Qualifications
- Previous experience in food service, quick service restaurants, or fast-food environments preferred
- Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS is advantageous
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to upsell and engage positively with guests
- Basic math skills for processing cash transactions and managing register operations
- Knowledge of food safety management, sanitation, and proper handling techniques
- Ability to operate kitchen equipment safely and efficiently
- Experience in retail sales transactions or grocery store environments is a plus
- Excellent time management skills to prioritize tasks during busy periods
- Culinary experience or restaurant background is highly desirable
